As a Security Officer Full Time Access Governance Driver in Baytown, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
- Verify identification, credentials, and authorization for individuals, vehicles, and deliveries entering or exiting the location; maintain accurate visitor and access logs.
- Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and communication systems; report unauthorized access attempts, unusual activity, and equipment concerns according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and emergency responders as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access-control areas, parking locations, gates, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
